Have an official announcement from Ganz about the Endangered Signature and
Small Signature Webkinz lines. The Endangered
Signature Red Panda Webkinzwill be the last Webkinz in the Endangered
Signature Series Webkinz that Ganz produces at least for the foreseeable
future. We also would like to pass along that they will also be halting
production on the Webkinz
Small Signature line, and Webkinz Jr. pets.
There had even been talk about discontinuing the Webkinz Pet of the Month and
Caring Valley Pets that had the 2 codes.
The main idea is that the change in Webkinz product
lines is due to their re-focusing of age groups to support 3 concurrent
virtual worlds -- Webkinz World, Tail Towns and Amazing World. Webkinz World
will maintain its target as a site for younger children (and adults that are
young at heart!), Amazing World is being targeted for teens, and Tail Towns is
marketed toward adults. Hopefully this will continue to have some better quality
items/games/etc. It appears that they will have about 4-5 New Webkinz each month
and 1 Signature
Webkinz as well. So overall there is both joy and sadness that comes so
often with changes.

Also for my 3 and 6 year olds it has become customary is to pat the heads of each webkinz going out and to wish them a safe trip and that they will enjoy their new home.
