We have heard a number of complaints on the new Shimmer Bunny Webkinz. As far as I have heard it isn't on any other Webkinz adoption or programming issues other than that of Shimmer.
Needless to say there was disappointment when some adopted their new Shimmer Bunny Webkinz pets to find instead they had adopted regular sized Hummingbirds, not even the Lil Kinz Hummingbird Webkinz.
So strange but true, but Webkinz World never claimed to be perfect and
never will be. Also the gift you receive is the Hummingbird package, not
the Shimmer Bunny's.
The Ganz coding for the Shimmer Bunny is almost exactly the same as the Hummingbird except that it is HM502 for the Shimmer Bunny and HS502 for the Hummingbird, one slight letter off.
So my suggestion for those of you who
have not yet adopted your Shimmer Bunny Webkinz yet, it would not be
advisable to do so until Ganz has had an opportunity to fix this error
in coding in their database. It is supposed to be fixed today (Monday),
but if you have already adopted a Shimmer Bunny only to discover that it
has wings, please contact Ganz immediately. I would be happy to help if
you need some assistance, even if you didn't buy it from us.
