Night Mare, Gobbler Turkey and Minty Moose New Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas Webkinz

Absolutely a great group to be coming out, which just continues the great theme of new Webkinz this year. Personally just absolutely love the Night Mare Webkinz for Halloween. Gobbler Turkey webkinz definitely has a lot more detail the original turkey for Thanksgiving and Minty Moose Webkinz for Christmas is one that you just want to eat up. Predicting that the Night Mare is going to be the next Lava Dragon if not bigger. Don't know if we will see Love Puppy territory, but only time will tell. As always can't wait to get to see them up close, but the pictures are wonderful.

The Lava Dragon and Peppermint Puppy in particular were getting harder to find as it was, but just think how they will be this year. Surprised the Bat actually is coming back. Thought that was going to be retired for good.

Wondering How the Webkinz Pet of the Month Program Works?

The Webkinz pet of the month program is an interesting way for girls and boys to experience new pets that Webkinz World features.  Webkinz World chooses one lucky Webkinz each and every month to be featured and honors them with special gifts and special events all month long that the Webkinz Pet is Picked.  As always Webkinz teaches kids and kids at heart important information about the care of these animals along with lots of other fun and exciting activities.

To start off with, the Webkinz pet of the month needs to be adopted during that month of promotion, not any earlier even though announced prior to actual promotion.  Most cases Webkinz World will announce two months ahead of time so you can make arrangements to locate that Webkinz to have ready to adopt.  Also keep in mind that it is the exact item like the June Webkinz Pet of the Month is the Pink Pig, so you can't use the Floppy Pig Webkinz just because it is a Pig, etc.  Also not that there are many Lil Kinz webkinz in existence as mentioned in a previous article of ours, but Lil Kinz Webkinz don't count for the Webkinz Pet of the Month unless specifically chosen to be so.  So the Webkinz Pet of the Month is typically for the full sized version Webkinz.  If unsure if you have the full sized version, you can check the tags on the animal and if it is the Lil Kinz version, it will say on it that it is the Lil Kinz on the blue tag and on the tush tag.  The full size version doesn't actually say full size on it.  There will be one and only one Webkinz Pet of the Month per month for every month of the year.  Obviously the program can change at any time, but adopting your new friend and going to the new room will result in receiving free items.

What will come free is the Loot bag found in the room that will reveal what prizes you both have won.  There will be one random pet of the month item that is not available anywhere else or to anyone else.  Second the loot bag will contain one of the latest recipe foods for your pet, which again aren't available other than pet of the month.  Plus there is more in that loot bag which contains a W-Shop coupon and somewhere between 500 and 1000 KinzCash to be used however desired.  Also realize this is the added bonus in addition to normal adoption of a new Webkinz Pet.  So there is no additional cost to buying a Pet of the Month vs buying that same Webkinz at any other point during the year other than demand affecting quantities.

And of course the Webkinz Pet of the Month promotion doesn't just end there.  There are lots of special events throughout the month for everyone who has adopted during the Pet of the Month.  Again all because you chose to adopt the Webkinz during the special promotion Webkinz World created.  Something to keep in mind is if adopting two of the same Pet of the Month is to make sure to select each pet to get each of their loot bags.  If on the same account, Webkinz World tries to avoid giving duplicates as the prize to you unless of course you already have all of the items.  The loot bags are not Webkinz Pet specific, so if really go for the pet of the month quite often, you wouldn't have to worry about the duplicates.

Figured would update everyone on the new Estore Webkinz pets. We personally don't like them, only for the fact they don't have the stuffed animal associated. But that is our opinion and only our opinion. They are replacing the birthstone pets with zodiac sign pets. First up is Taurus the bull, so of course there will be plenty of fun and games for those that adopt these animals and will have one per month until they are all done. Well there are some changes from what I had been told before. I will update pictures when I get them. A few sound interesting, but time will tell as pictures are very helpful.

Really becoming impressed with the quality of these new Webkinz indeed. Webkinz World is definitely putting some effort into the design. Wondering What Happened to Lil Kinz Webkinz?

Although Ganz has never come out and said it and probably never will, the younger Webkinz customers and collectors probably have a harder time coping with it, but the Lil' Kinz line has effectively been discontinued (or put on hiatus is a better phrase for it.) Not releasing a Lil' Kinz since last July is very indicative of this, plus the introduction of the Zumbuddy Webkinz line and two new Signature Webkinz offshoot lines is more than enough proof that Ganz's interests are elsewhere in other product lines.

The Signature Webkinz in particular has skyrocketed in popularity due to their larger size and softer nature. Other indicative proof would be that as of late, bird and fish styles have been introduced as normal Webkinz as opposed to Lil' Kinz. If the line was going to continue, would have thought the Lionfish, Caterpillar, Pink Cockatoo, to name a few, would have been Lil' Kinz instead, as they're typically smaller animals in nature.

However, here is the list and product codes from an old Ganz document of Lil' Kinz styles that were going to be released... but were scrapped when Ganz decided not to make the new lil Kinz. Will some of these styles be reconsidered and introduced as full sized Webkinz or small Signature Webkinz? Only time will tell. This list is 100% valid as it was sent prior to the announcement of Polka Back Fish, Budgie, Oriole, and Tomato Clown Fish, and then one by one they were announced.

Here's the list of those who didn't make the cut, but may make a reappearance in the future in some form or another -

HS509 - Warbler
HS514 - Parrotlet
HS517 - Grey Mouse
HS518 - Butterfly Fish

Obviously not every variation will make the cut as there are typically about 4-6 new Webkinz issued each month. Some are the new signature series to compliment the regular full size Webkinz version. But it looks like the Lil Kinz seems to have taken a back seat to all other Webkinz at least for the time being, if not forever. A cheaper alternative and a joy to many that considered them the babies to their mommies and daddies.

So if you are wanting these Lil Kinz Webkinz as upcoming presents, you may want to start stocking up on them before they are all gone. Especially since the newly released Webkinz and the Signature Webkinz series don't seem to be slowing down any for the past several months. Don't necessarily count on the prices to go down for a long time on the rest of the Webkinz collection. The Signature Webkinz in particular are usually doubling in price at least. It may be years before that happens or might be the Webkinz variations that you don't like. Now that you have the information, it is up to you.

New Retired Webkinz Will Become Harder to Find

The Love Lion, Triceratops Webkinz, and Rottweiler Webkinz are now retired, so what is out there is all that will ever be made. So if you think you are having a hard time now, it will only get harder and more expensive.
